The food was also outstanding: from the asparagus soup to the plaice, schnitzel, and pasta, everything was superbly prepared and beautifully presented. The dishes were a feast for the eyes, and the taste was just as delicious.
A particular highlight was the sea buckthorn crème brûlée, the perfect ending to a wonderful evening. Combined with the lovely view of the harbor, we thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.
Highly recommended – we'll definitely be back!

On Blocki's recommendation, we visited the restaurant "Zum kleinen Leuchtturm" today – and we weren't disappointed!
The service was outstanding from beginning to end: attentive, warm, and professional.
Even the appetizers were absolutely divine. We were particularly impressed by the tempura prawns and the salmon sashimi – both were top-notch in terms of taste and presentation. In our opinion, the fish soup definitely deserves the award for the second-best on Rügen 😉.
The main courses were equally delicious and perfectly prepared.
On top of that, the restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with great attention to detail – a place to feel comfortable and enjoy.

We went there for breakfast in October 2025. It was absolutely fantastic. Everything was so beautifully presented and prepared with such care.
Then, when we had lunch there on Good Friday this year, it surpassed all previous experiences in terms of hospitality. The service was excellent, and the food was prepared with a dedication that is second to none.
All in all, we were incredibly satisfied.

The food was very good, the service excellent, and the organization was great. The atmosphere was lovely.

Service was excellent at the beginning. Unfortunately, the later and busier it got, the worse the service became. Therefore, one star deducted.
Dessert was forgotten. At the next table, the entire main course (for four people) was even forgotten.
There's definitely room for improvement.
The food was great. A small tip for the steak tartare, which was really good quality: it was too cold. The taste is even better when it's not 5 degrees Celsius.
Parking is available directly at the restaurant/hotel. Two hours are free. You receive a voucher when you pay, as the hotel has parking enforcement!
The restrooms were amazing! I've rarely seen such well-maintained restrooms in a restaurant. This should be a model for everyone!
We'll be back during peak season; hopefully, you can improve your service.

Before we get to the food itself, I'd like to commend the dedicated waiters. Always friendly and attentive. Even children were treated with loving care. They not only have an eye for when they're needed but can also provide knowledgeable information about the daily specials. You can tell they're making an effort. And yet, it all feels relaxed.
The kitchen also deserves a mention. As the food was carried past us, we could already catch glimpses of the delicious aromas. When it was finally in front of us, it was something else entirely. I was truly overwhelmed. Fantastic, there's nothing more to say. The chefs must love their craft to conjure up such creations. I've never eaten such buttery-soft sweet potato puree. I had the braised rump roast. And I wasn't disappointed, quite the opposite. Everything was perfectly coordinated, resulting in a true explosion of flavor. Intense and aromatic, simply fantastic. Highly recommended! My companion was also extremely satisfied with his Wagyu steak.
The effort put in by the entire team is evident and ensures that the food is absolutely delicious. Thank you!
The free parking for stays of less than two hours is, of course, a big plus.

- Ambiance: Superbly elegant, very warm, and modern. You feel very welcome.
- Food and more: All the dishes we ordered were authentic, reimagined, and presented in a fresh way. Not your average fare, but two levels above the rest.
- Service: Highly trained and qualified. The service was very attentive, and the welcome was exceptionally positive.
- Prices: Prices are on the higher end, but considering the quality, ambiance, and service, they are the bare minimum.
- Other: We recommend the set menus and making a reservation in advance.

From the starter to the dessert it was a pleasure for us as vegetarians. We raved about this great meal the whole drive home.
The food was quite good, fish soup was tasty, beef tartare was, in my opinion, too finely chopped or minced and seasoned with ketchup. Panfish was okay, the plaice on one side was clearly overcooked for me, fried potatoes and salad were good.
The ladies in service were hectic and the harsh tone behind the counter left you puzzled, but the young man in service was friendly.
But why is the breakfast buffet already set up for the hotel guests in the same guest room while dinner is running...?
Probably not a repeat, that's for sure.
Service: the waitress was very nice and friendly.
Ambiance: Stylishly furnished, modern but cozy.
I can 100% recommend.

First of all i would admit, that this man ca 50 years old, who was a waiter for our table, had really good fragrances and had very good looking (i mean clothes and haircut) bravo👌🏻 not that oft you can meet a waiter who cares abt outlooking so good👏🏻
