The extensively modernised Hafenrestaurant Zum kleinen Leuchtturm in Lauterbach is the oldest seaside resort on the island of Rügen, which offers you a wonderful view of the harbour and the island of Vilm, at a culinary locale that will make you feel right at home.

Exceptional food and sweetest waiter ever.First of all i would admit, that this man ca 50 years old, who was a waiter for our table, had really good fragrances and had very good looking (i mean clothes and haircut) bravo👌🏻 not that oft you can meet a waiter who cares abt outlooking so good👏🏻And of course food. Well all you can say, i would eat there every day! Literally! Chef - awesome job!I am vegetarian so hat also smth to eat but would be happy to see more vegetarian /vegan options for a next meeting ☺️ Steinpilzen cremesuppe would be really priceless ❤️And fish that my bf ordered was also 5 stars. Melody of taste 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Today the two of us spontaneously went to the harbor restaurant for dinner as we are in Lauterbach for New Year's Eve. It was perfect as always. The food is truly star cuisine! Thank you!

I haven't eaten so well in a long time! We couldn't even decide what to eat! So reserve a table for Saturday! My favorite pasta was also lactose-free! What a great Christmas!Thank you very much. The service and ambience was great too!

Full marks!!!Chic atmosphere after the renovation.Very comfortable. The menu and daily specials are not just “standard”.Everything tasted really great!We had Wiener Schnitzel and plaice as well as beef roulade.The homemade red cabbage was really tasty!And the ‘rum ice cream’ was also great.We'll definitely be back soon🫡👍

My wife and I were able to spend 10 nights in the harbor hotel in September and also dined four times in the hotel's own restaurant.Every evening was a complete success. Both the food and the service couldn't have been better. The atmosphere is simply harmonious, modern and cozy.The breakfast buffet was also so rich and varied that it didn't get boring after 10 days. Everything has really been thought of. I could write so much more, but it's best to see for yourself. Will definitely be coming back! 🙂

We went here for dinner on the last day of our short vacation. The three of us hadn't eaten as well as we had that evening in a long time. The menu offers something for every taste, we were thrilled. What was particularly noteworthy was the friendly service! We'll come back when we're back in Lauterbach.

Five visits, five times we went home with a smile. We really liked the warm atmosphere in the restaurant on our first visit. A very relaxed, always attentive service and, to top it off, the food. Regardless of whether it was Lauterbach panfish, salmon, zander or the fish recommendations next to the main menu, all the fish were fried to perfection and very tasty, and the plates were great to look at. The beef from the daily recommendation, highly recommended both as a medallion and as fillet tips, with a sauce to lick off the plate. And then dessert. We tried everything in just under a week (except the cheese plate) and are of the opinion that no matter what you choose, you can't go wrong. Conclusion: An absolute recommendation, make sure to make a reservation, especially on the weekend.

We were warmly welcomed and had a very nice table outside. In addition to the menu there were 3 extra daily specials. What we thought was great is that the prices were mentioned. We had the cauliflower soup, the turnips with goat cheese, plaice and, absolutely perfect for me, the cod with risotto and chorizo ​​and asparagus. For dessert, a crème brulee with fresh berries. A great evening from starter to dessert. The service is very nice and keeps an overview well, even though the restaurant was packed. We would recommend a reservation. We'll stop by again before we leave.PS: great toiletsAddendumWe were also very satisfied on our second visit. The fish soup is super delicious. Also the lamb and the turbot from the daily menu. Dear Sascha, many thanks to you and your great team in the kitchen and service. We are thrilled with the selection, freshness and quality of the dishes we were able to enjoy. The fish menu was to die for, and the matching Pinot Gris was perfect. And a note about the ambience: as a small woman, I could sit comfortably and relaxed in the beautiful armchairs on the covered terrace. This makes you want to linger a little longer. It's a must to come back to enjoy more of the menu's delicacies. Thanks also for the tour of the hotel. You have really created something very beautiful. You can feel very comfortable here!

Simply amazing, this restaurant is exceptionally great. You can sit both outside and inside in a very nice and stylish atmosphere. Even in hot temperatures it is a pleasant place. The food is outstanding, there's a certain twist everywhere, far from run-of-the-mill, and modernly prepared. Not one thing that didn't taste wonderful. The service is quick and extremely friendly. An absolute recommendation – you should definitely go here!
